Title: They Only Remembered Her
Author: Ryu Heon, Shin Yiho
Genre: Fantasy, Romance
Graphic Novel
Rating: 5/5 stars
This story is about a female knight. She has been trained for fighting since a young age and becomes a very skilled knight because of it. This is about her journey after her required service has been completed.
I really liked this story. Given my current series about a female knight, "The Griffin Guard," it could just be that I'm a sucker for female knight protagonists. But the main character was strong, yet not afraid to be feminine in her own ways. She didn't sacrifice being a lady to be strong, and I think that's always a good aspect in stories about female empowerment.
The story was also about romance as she decides who she loves, but it's not all focused on the man. There is a plot, and the protagonist has things on her mind that she has to deal with outside of looking for love. In fact, the romance was pretty light overall. I really enjoyed this story and would strongly recommend!
Clean Read?
This was a pretty clean read. There is some violence and mild gore.
Question for my readers!
Do you enjoy stories with a strong female lead, who is focused on more things than love?
Enjoy your next adventure!
