Apple Arden has to partake in a crown princess audition for the prince to choose a bride. There is also a character named Rose that plays a significant role in the story, coming in and being adopted as Apple's sister.

This story was fun to follow, there was some strategy in the competition and I enjoyed that. Apple was sweet and kind, though sometimes she may have been a little naive. She was still easy to love, and I really liked Rose and her role in the story. Overall, if you enjoy stories with sweet romance that includes some noble politics and strategy, you should enjoy this story.
